As advertised, arrives in nice retail box. It works and definitely measures the temperature accurately. Buyer needs to be aware though that 1) all writing is in Chinese, nothing in English; 2) as oppose to other models I had this thermometer does not beep at all - neither when turning on nor when measurement ends - so one has to guess when it can be taken out of the mouth
